Platform Terms of Service

RecruitR Platform Terms & Governance

Last updated: March 2026 · Governed by South African Law

1. Role Definitions & Acceptable Use

  • Employers: Agree to publish genuine vacancies with accurate salary ranges and honor placement fee commitments upon candidate start dates.
  • RecruitRs: Agree to screen candidates diligently, submit accurate candidate information with consent, and adhere to SARS tax classification requirements.
  • Job Seekers: Agree to provide true, non-misleading qualifications and employment history. Platform usage is 100% free for candidates.

2. Commission Structure & Payout Terms

Placement commissions are accrued upon employer placement confirmation. Direct commissions (70%-80% based on subscription tier) and network referral overrides (Tier 1: 5%, Tier 2: 2.5%) are disbursed following clearance of the employer invoice and placement guarantee holding period.

RecruitRs operating as independent contractors will receive annual SARS IT3(a) certificates from the platform.

3. 90-Day Placement Guarantee Policy

All employer placements confirmed through RecruitR are covered by a 90-day placement guarantee. If a placed candidate resigns or is lawfully terminated for misconduct/incapacity within 90 calendar days of their start date:

  • The employer is entitled to a free candidate replacement within 30 days.
  • If no replacement is found, a fee credit is issued against future placement invoices.

4. Subscription Terms & Billing

Subscriptions for RecruitR Starter (R249/mo), Pro (R699/mo), and Employer Enterprise (R1,499/mo) are billed monthly in advance via PayFast or card payment. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute regarding candidate ownership, placement dates, or commission splits shall be referred to arbitration in Johannesburg under the Rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA).
